Advanced Computer Applications - EDTC 5103
This course was one of the most interesting courses. During the semester we were challenged with evaluating many different digital tools and methods of instruction to determine the best use of each within the educational setting. I was able to add quite a few new tools and sites to my repertoire to share with the teachers I serve. It was a very challenging and fulfilling class.
With our final project, we were challenged to create a new course or unit that would showcase the strategies and tools that we had learned. I chose to focus this unit on the administrators in my district and the concept of "flipping" their faculty meetings to minimize meeting time and provide continuing information to their faculty. This is a concept that has gained attention for the classroom, but it is of great benefit for administrators, as well.
Below you will find the Thinglink image that has each part of my project linked. By clicking on the targets below, you will find the lesson plans, research and resources, and instructional materials necessary to give "flipping" a try.
