Foundations of Educational Technology - EDTC 5203
This course was designed to be an introduction to the Educational Technology program. It builds a foundation of ideals, techniques and strategies for successful implementation of technology into the work place and educational setting. For me, starting the program during a Spring semester, I actually took this class as one of my final courses before graduation. While the intent, I believe, was to be an introduction, for me it was a summary of all that I had learned while in the program. I felt that all of my other courses had prepared me for the overview of this field. Without a doubt, this was the right program for me!
As a culminating activity in this course, we were asked to create a video presentation summary of our knowledge gained in this class. It was amazing to think back to all of the topics covered and insights gained in such a short time. In addition, we wrote about our current goals and how we see ourselves working within the field of Educational Technology. You will find my video presentation and link to goals below.
